San Elijo Hills Garage Sale and Charity Event
The San Elijo Hills Garage Sale and Charity Event is brought to you by the Jonville Team. This is the 6th annual San Elijo Hills Garage Sale and Charity Event that the Jonville Team has sponsored, in years past thanks to the generous support of the community we have been able to donate money to help San Elijo Hills Schools and Baby Grace Dunn - the Heart of Grace Foundation.
This years garage sale will take place on Saturday, May 14th from 7-11am. If you live in San Elijo Hills or Old Creek Ranch and would like to participate in this years event go to: www.SEHgaragesale.com and fill out the sign up form. There is a $10 participation fee with 100% of each donation going to The Heart of Grace Foundation and San Elijo Hills Schools. The deadline for signing up is May 02, 2011. When you sign up, you will be asked what items you will be selling. This is done so on the morning of the garage sale from 7-8 members of the Jonville Team can distribute maps of the community to shoppers. On the maps will be your home and the items you are selling. The Jonville Team is not allowed to post any garage sale signage inside the community of San Elijo Hills, it will be removed. Residents can post signage so feel free to post signage to your home the morning of the event. Due to the large number of homes participating in the garage sale, we cannot arrange for donation pick ups after the sale. The charities/donation houses have asked that this be arranged with them by the homeowners.
If you are a garage sale shopper and would like to pick up your map of homes having garage sales, these are available for a $1 donation (100% of the donation going toward the Heart of Grace Foundation and San Elijo Hills Schools). They will be available to pick up from 7am-8am at the Fountain in San Elijo Hills (across from 1257 San Elijo Rd, San Marcos, 92078), at the corner of Archer Rd/Elfin Forest Rd and at the corner of Wild Canyon/San Elijo Hills Rd. After 8am the maps will only be available for pick up at the Fountain.
Last year we had over 120 home participating in the event and much fun was had by all. It can get busy on the roads during the garage sale event so please be aware of pedestrians crossing the street and drive safe!
